From Star Trek: Gamma One

Not every scene on Star Trek: The Wine Dark Sea will be recorded for posterity by the in-game cameras (usually only episodes or some staff-run duty scenes will fall into this category). It is encouraged that you log scenes and add them to the Wiki. There are some caveats though: In private scenes (in someone's quarters for example), permission of all parties is required before posting logs. In public areas or staff-run scenes this is not generally necessary.

To add a player log to the came is a simple process. First, you must come up with a title, followed by the stardate it took place on. So for example if I wanted to create a personal log entitled "Christmas Party" that took place on stardate 3000, I would create a page as such:

Christmas Party-3000.0

At the top of this new page, insert the following code

{{Player_Logs|title=<title>|cast=<[[who was in it]]>|summary=
<summary>| affiliated=}}

Next we need to know who attended the party with links to their pages, as well as coming up with a summary. So for our example, let's say Smith, Jones, and Kirk attended the party. The entry would look like this:

{{Player_Logs|title=Christmas Party-3000.0|cast=[[Smith]], [[Jones]], [[Kirk]]|summary=
Smith, Jones and Kirk drink until they can't feel feelings anymore at this years Christmas party.| affiliated=}}

Following that you just paste the cleaned up log of what happened at the party, finishing with

[[Category:Player Logs]]

at the bottom.

• Note: The affiliated exists if a player log is directly related to an episode, in which case you would link the episode after affiliated.
