- GEN 2229: Born on the Greek-founded colony of New Ionia
- GEN 2239: As is custom on the colony, after the age of 10 Konstantin is given a task to help the colony. Testing indicates that he would be best served helping with colonial maintenance.
- GEN 2247: Breaking from tradition, Konstantin heads off to Starfleet Academy to be an Engineer, with the idea that he could only help improve the colony by having more experience.
- GEN 2250: Assigned to the Ranger-class USS Euler for his cadet cruise, where he helped with a refit of the 30-year-old ship's engines.
- GEN 2251: Graduated from Starfleet Academy and assigned as a diagnostic engineer at the San Francisco Fleet Yards.
- GEN 2251: During leave Konstantin returns home to New Ionia to marry his childhood sweetheart, Arcadia.
- GEN 2252: Ensign Mavrostomos lands his first shakedown cruise when he's assigned as a junior diagnostic engineer on the Constitution-class USS Lexington. The ship experiences nothing out of the ordinary on the shakedown but his superiors note his aptitude in leading the enlisted crew in diagnosing and repairing the routine problems during the cruise. It is decided shortly afterward that he will stay with the San Francisco Fleet Yards and continue his training.
- GEN 2254: Back on New Ionia, twin daughters Hanna and Rhebekka are born to Konstantin and Arcadia.
- GEN 2255: Ensign Mavrostomos begins working with some of the starship design teams as an apprentice, learning the ropes on what it takes to build a starship.
- GEN 2257: Promoted to Lieutenant JG.
- GEN 2259: Lieutenant JG Mavrostomos starts work learning the actual construction of starships. Combined with his previous experience he will have been part of the entire process from drawing board to launch of a starship.
- GEN 2261: Detatched to the USS Hellespont as Combat Systems Diagnostic Officer for her shakedown cruise.
- GEN 2264: Promoted to Lieutenant.
- GEN 2264: Deatched to the USS Hermes as Deputy Chief Engineer and diagnostician for her shakedown cruise.
- GEN 2265: Detatched to the USS Saladin for her shakedown cruise again as Deputy Chief Engineer and diagnostician.
- GEN 2266: The Colony of New Ionia is destroyed by a mysterious and unknown weapon. Lieutenant Mavrostomos was on the USS Saladin during her shakedown cruise when she responded to the attack. There were no survivors. Given that soon afterward first visual contact was made with the Romulans, it was assumed by many that they were responsible for the attack, but it was never proven and the Romulans denied it.
- GEN 2266: Lieutenant Mavrostomos takes personal leave after the attack on his home once the Saladin returns to dock and is certified for production.
- GEN 2267: Lieutenant Mavrostomos returns to the San Francisco Fleet Yards after nearly a year off.
- GEN 2269: Konstantin is recruited to two different design teams building the next ships, however he decides to become a part of the shuttle-carrier concept that is in motion due to its uniqueness for Starfleet ships.
- GEN 2271: Konstantin is promoted to Lieutenant Commander and is given charge of the San Francisco Fleet Yards diagnostic teams.
- GEN 2273: Konstantin was to be temporarily reassigned from the newly named Illustrious-class program to the USS Enterprise for one month to help assist Commander Scott in having the ship spaceworthy. However the team never made it on board due to the V'Ger crisis.
- GEN 2274: In late 2274, work is completed on the USS Illustrious, NX-1901, the first of her class. As the head of the diagnostics team at the San Francisco Fleet Yards Lieutenant Commander Mavrostomos is assigned to be Chief Engineer of the Illustrious for her shakedown cruise.
- GEN 2275: After only three months Illustrious returns to drydock for two months to implement modifcations highlighted by the shakedown cruise. These changes are incorporated into the spaceframes of the other hulls that are currently being built. Illustrious returns to her shakedown cruise by July.
- GEN 2275: Illustrious returns to Earth on Christmas day, the modifcations remaining on the vessel were able to be handled mid-shakedown as opposed to a return to drydock like earlier in the year. Since the new modifications to the other hulls were completed in drydock, Illustrious does go through making sure the in-flight fixes are made more permanent. However by this time Commander Mavrostomos has moved on to overseeing the final construction of the next ship, HN-1949.
- GEN 2276: The efficiency with which the diagnostic crews worked to implement the final permanent changes into the design allowed the first production ship, designated USS Halcyon NCC-1949 to launch for shakedown 6 months early.
- GEN 2276: LTCMDR Mavrostomos assigned as Chief Engineer of the USS Halcyon for its shakedown cruise.
- GEN 2277: Following the shakedown of the Halcyon and its impending transfer to the command of Captain Schuyler, LTCMDR Mavrostomos makes a sudden and surprise request to remain aboard the Halcyon as Chief Engineer. The reason given to his superiors at the SFFY is that he had not had the opportunity to go on a standard tour of duty. Agreement is given by his superiors under the assumption that in 5 years time he will come back and once again resume his post at SFFY.
