Directed Energy Weapons

Phasers (PHASed Energy Rectifiers) are the standard weapon of the Federation. Phasers have a small transceiver allowing the station or ship to monitor usage, and use is limited to Level 3 or lower unless permission to raise it higher is given by command staff. Phasers can also be tuned to the user's bioelectric signature so no one else can use it.
