Miranda-class
From Star Trek: Gamma One
The Miranda-class cruiser was introduced by Starfleet during the mid 2270s. Mirandas are the smaller, short-to-medium range multi-role cruisers which will help the Illustrious-class as well as future ships replace the Constitution-class by performing similar duties at shorter ranges and with shorter mission profiles. They are part of the same planning, R&D, and development and deployment strategy as the Illustrious-class and USS Miranda left drydock for its shakedown cruise in 2274.
Known Ships of this Class
- USS Boston NCC-1820
