In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
CDB characters are designed to be long term assests to the game, and not to be played by only one person. When the person currently playing a CDB PC does not log on enough, the CDB PC will be made available to others. Due to the nature of the game, this recycling does have limits as discussed in the 'news CDB Retirement' file.
Recycling of a CDB Character occurs in one of two situations:
- When a CDB Character is claimed and email is sent out, the player claiming the PC must login the first time within 24 hours. If not the PC is recycled.
- Once the PC has been claimed and the first login has occurred, the CDB Character will be recycled if it has not been logged into within 14 days.
