From Star Trek: Gamma One
In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
Staff simply cannot maintain a list of all disallowed or borderline concepts. Such a list would be too long to maintain. However, here are some guidelines to help determine if your concept is disallowed on Star Trek: Gamma One:
- Any race which is not in character generation, particularly those races with special powers above the normal races, is disallowed. Also, we will not consider original concept races for you to play.
- Criminal Starfleet PCs. If your PC is a criminal, then the concept will not fly. Also, bear in mind that if your PC was a criminal in the past due to his or her actions, then staff will expect the PC suffered the appropriate consequences in the PC's background.
- Starfleet PCs above the starting ranks. Please do not ask to play a PC above the default ranks. In some cases we may need to fill a high rank position, and if we do we will post about it.
- All racially mixed PCs are by special application only. Please +request if you are interested in a racially mixed PC with a 1-2 paragraph concept.
- All races listed as restricted are by special application only. Please +request for more information.
- Undercover spies from other cultures are not allowed. If they come to exist they will do so through IC recruitment by players, or OOC recruitment by staff.
