News Files:Conduct
From Star Trek: Gamma One
In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
Your IC conduct is controlled by the rules and regulations of Starfleet, while not all of those rules are spelled out in detail here, most of them are common sense. You need to follow orders, you can't show disrespect, and so on. If your conduct is inappropriate for an officer, the punishment can include passed over for promotion, reprimand, punishment, or even loss of commission (which means the PC will need to leave the game).
OOCly you are expected to follow the policy rules. In general acting like a mature adult is what we ask of the staff and players.
Your IC actions will not normally be subject to OOC repercussions. If you do something wrong ICly then you will face an IC response. However in some cases, such as repeated problems, staff may OOCly step in. This will only happen if the IC problems/activities begin to negatively affect the enjoyment of the game on an ongoing basis.
