News Files:Description

In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
Your descriptions, for both your character and your room, should include basic formatting only.
- For a new line use %r.
- For a tab use %t.
- As per 'news ansi' do not use ansi.
The following guidelines will be used for writing descriptions:
- The description cannot force a reaction is other players.
- It must provide a reasonable image of the character. Something along the lines of 'He stands between five and six feet tall' is not detailed enough.
- It cannot be overtly sexual. Avoid things like 'her large breasts are ripe for the squeezing' or unnatural bulges and abnormal appendages.
- The description cannot contain a perpetual mood indicator. Avoid things like 'a smug smile lingers on her face', as there are times where the description will not match the character's mood. If her best friend has just been vaporized by the Dominion, is she still going to have that smug smile?
- The description cannot contain an action such as 'he looks back at you and smiles'. Actions such as that belong in roleplay and not a desc.
- While staff do not expect perfect spelling and grammar we do expect that the description be realitively free of errors and problems as to make it readable.
