In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
Episodes are staff-run events and/or plots for the game. Access to and participation in the episodes is handled through the +event code. Episodes will be posted in +events and players will be able to see upcoming events and sign up to participate.
Please make sure you read the event description before signing up and follow any posted guidelines for the episode. Also please always follow these rules:
- Do not sign up unless you can be present for the start of the episode.
- Expect, unless otherwise noted, for the episode to run four to six hours.
- Do not sign up if your character does not qualify for the episode. (For example the episode is only for Starfleet PCs and your character is not Starfleet, or the episode is for PCs from Security and Engineering and your PC is from Science.)
- Do not sign up if two people from your branch are already signed up. (The exception is that the event description indicates the event is for one or two branches, in which case this limit does not apply).
Once episodes have been completed they will be posted in the +eps archive for in-game reading. After a few months logs will be moved to permanent storage on the website.
