In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
The following locations exist for meals and social gatherings:
Trader Vic's: Located on the Marathon, Trader Vic's provides a full range of meals and beverages. Most of the drinks are, following the information in the alcohol file, syntheholic with real alcohol available on occasion.
Runway 4-A: This is a quiet lounge located on deck twelve of the Marathon. The rules actually mandate it being a location for rest, relaxation and quiet chat. Quiet discussions over coffee or card games are permitted, but yelling across the room or boisterous conversations are not. The room does not serve food -- the replicator only offers drinks.
Briefing Room: In its default configuration, the briefing room serves as a lecture and briefing area. It seats 50 people with PADD-sized consoles. Operations can remove the lecturn, extend the stage and add in extra chairs to turn the room into a small performance hall or gathering area that seats approximately 100 people in a cramped fashion.
