News Files:Idling

In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
Do not idle in public. Idling in this sense means either being repeatedly AFK so that you negatively affect RP while people wait on you, or being AFK for a prolonged period of time. If you need to AFK for five or ten minutes, and warn people, that is acceptable. People should not arrive in a public location and be forced to wait half an hour for you to respond.
A public location for this purpose is anywhere but your quarters.
If you need to or want to idle excessively, please do one of the following:
- Set your OOC via '+toggle' and idle in quarters.
- Go to the OOC Lounge via '+ooc' and idle there.
