In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
Because the game is based on a set roster, inactive players can not hold onto a roster billet indefinitely. After thirty days if you are inactive and unable to play your character, you will lose your roster position. This includes logging into your PC a few times a month to keep it from being nuked but not being active and roleplaying.
If you wish to retain the PC, you can +request and staff will 'freeze' your character so that it is not auto-nuked. When you can resume play, you will need to find an appropriate roster billet based on your skills and rank. Unfortunately only there is only limited wiggle room allowed for a returning character. Special exceptions will create confusion and problems with the roster.
