News Files:XP Earning
From Star Trek: Gamma One
In the case of any discrepancy between the news files on the game and those here on the wiki, the news files on the game are correct version.
Star Trek: Gamma One awards XP through a blended system, giving out XP at a flat rate, earning XP through votes and earning XP through duty RP. Every active player receives 2XP per week as a flat XP award. Every player can then earn further XP through roleplay.
XP can be earned through roleplay in two ways:
- +votes: Players can vote for each other any time they RP with each other and enjoy it. Each +vote counts as a fraction of a whole XP and when enough votes are earned they translate into a full XP.
- Duty RP: Staff will award players for duty roleplay. This award is larger than the value of a +vote.
The votes and bonuses earned through +votes and duty roleplay are tallied up and added together, letting you earning between 0XP and 2XP per week. This combined with the flat XP award means that each week you can earn between 2XP and 4XP. Extra earning XP is currently carried over into the earning pool for the next week.
XP awards are calculated Sunday early morning, and added to your XP pool at that time.
