Office of Starbase Operations

The Office of Starbase Operations is a division of the Office of the Chief of Fleet Operations governing all Starfleet starbases, stations, and outposts. This division is commanded by the Chief of Starbase Operations who typically holds the rank of Vice Admiral or higher. Executive management, refitting, retrofitting, construction, and decommissioning for all such installations is tasked to this office. The Office of Starbase Operations is located in Starfleet Headquarters in San Francisco on Earth.
