  • Betreka Nebula incident, involving a Klingon reconnaissance vessel and a Cardassian cruiser, causes declarations of war between the Empire and the Union.

  • The Cardassians revolt against the Dominion and give aid to the Alliance in the Battle of Cardassia Prime, which effectively ends the Dominion War.
