Starfleet Strategic Materials Command

SSMC is located in San Francisco, on Earth. Starfleet Strategic Materials Command is the department of Starfleet Material Supply Command responsible for the procurement and delivery of mission-critical non-replicable materials. This includes Dilithium and certain alloys used in construction. SSMC works on the macro-level, coordinating closely with the Federation Merchant Marines to ensure that ore and finished goods reach locations where they are needed.
